1621913800 HOSE ASSEMBLY for ATLAS SCREW AIR COMPRESSOR AC Hose Assembly
Material and structural characteristics
The original factory AC hose is made of a composite material that is resistant to high pressure and aging. Common structures include:
Inner layer: Synthetic rubber or PTFE material that is resistant to oil and compression air corrosion, ensuring pure transportation medium and preventing aging and cracking;
Reinforcement layer: High-strength woven steel wire or fiber mesh, enhancing the hose's pressure resistance (typically capable of withstanding 16-30 bar working pressure, with burst pressure exceeding the rated pressure by more than 4 times);
Outer layer: Wear-resistant and weather-resistant rubber or PVC material, protecting the inner layer and reinforcement layer from external friction, ultraviolet rays, or chemical erosion.
At the same time, the hose ends are equipped with metal joints (such as quick couplings, threaded joints), ensuring a sealed connection with the equipment interface.
Functions and application scenarios
The AC hose is mainly used in screw machine systems for:
Connecting components that cannot be directly connected due to rigid piping (such as from the compressor outlet to the storage tank, filter to dryer, etc.);
Absorbing vibration from equipment operation, reducing wear or loosening of the piping due to resonance;
Adapting to installation space limitations, facilitating piping layout and later maintenance and disassembly.
Different lengths and diameters of hoses can meet the requirements of different flow rates and installation distances.
Key points for model selection
When choosing a model, the following parameters should be focused on:
Diameter specification: Select based on the compressed air flow rate, common inner diameters include 10mm, 16mm, 25mm (corresponding to 1/4", 3/8", 1" in imperial units), and it must match the interface size of the connecting components;
Working pressure: Must meet the maximum pressure of the system (screw machines typically range from 10-16 bar), select hoses with a pressure resistance level consistent with the system;
Length and joint type: Choose based on the installation distance and interface form (such as threaded G1/4, quick-insert type, flange, etc.), some hoses have custom lengths;
Air compressor model: Different series (such as GA, ZR, G, etc.) may have different matching hoses due to different system designs, providing model (such as GA45VSD) and factory serial number for precise matching.
