1202586903 Atlas Copco Air Compressor VALVE THERM. 65 C Original
1. The meaning of temperature at different positions in Atlas Copco
Intake / Ambient Temperature: If the sensor detects the intake or ambient temperature, 65°C is already significantly high (normal ambient temperature is usually no more than 40°C), which may indicate that the equipment is in a high-temperature environment or has poor ventilation. It is necessary to check the cooling conditions.
Oil Temperature and Exhaust Temperature: For the oil temperature or exhaust temperature of the air compressor, 65°C is generally within the normal range (most air compressors operate at a normal temperature between 60-95°C). Specific details should refer to the rated range in the equipment manual.
Motor Temperature: The temperature of the motor housing at 65°C is usually normal (the allowable temperature rise of the motor is generally no more than 80K, and at an ambient temperature of 30°C, the temperature of the housing can approach 90°C).
2. Handling of abnormal situations in Atlas Copco
If 65°C is close to the upper limit of the equipment temperature or continues to rise, pay attention to:
Check if the cooling system (such as fans, radiators, coolant) is working properly;
Confirm the oil quantity and quality. Insufficient or deteriorated oil will lead to a decrease in cooling efficiency;
Check if the equipment is overheating due to excessive load, abnormal intake volume, etc.
