Installation and Maintenance Instructions
Oil pipes inside the unit: Replace after shutdown, depressurization and cooling; Record the direction and connection sequence, clean the interfaces, assemble according to the specified torque; Recheck the pressure drop and leakage after operation.
Gas pipelines: Avoid excessive bending / stretching and dragging on the ground; Regularly inspect the joints and wear; Perform a gas tightness test when necessary.
Applicable models
The Z series oil-free centrifugal compressors of ATLAS COPCO, such as ZB VSD⁺ oil-free magnetic suspension centrifugal blower, ZM oil-free multi-stage centrifugal blower, ZHL single-stage centrifugal compressor, etc., as well as the GT, T, RT and other series process gas compressors, all come with corresponding impeller components.
Core parameters and replacement
Filter accuracy: approximately 10 - 15 μm, protecting the main unit bearings and rotor.
Replacement cycle: usually every 4,000 - 8,000 hours or according to the equipment manual; in harsh environments, it can be shortened.
Installation tips: After applying oil to the new filter element sealing ring, install it with the specified torque; after replacement, check the oil level and pressure drop.
Key Parameters and Replacement
Filter Accuracy: Approximately 10 - 15 μm, ensuring the lubricating oil entering the main unit is clean.
Replacement Cycle: Usually every 4,000 - 8,000 hours or according to the equipment maintenance manual; apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the sealing ring before installation to avoid dry start-up.
Installation Tips: After applying oil to the new filter sealing ring, install it according to the specified torque. After replacement, check the oil level and pressure drop.
Common Misconceptions and Risks
Replacing only the oil but not the filter: Impurities accumulate, accelerating wear and clogging.
Overdue use: Increased pressure difference leads to higher energy consumption and an increased risk of filter damage.
Installation too tightly: May cause the base to deform or make future disassembly difficult.
