Maintenance for the non-driven side motor components of Atlas Copco oil-injected screw compressors
Regular inspection
Observe whether there is oil leakage or seepage at the non-driven side end cover , check for abnormal temperature rise, and use a sound detector to determine if there is any abnormal noise.
Check the tightness of the end cover bolts to ensure reliable sealing.
Bear maintenance
Replace the bearing lubricating grease according to the cycle specified in the motor manual, clean the bearing chamber, and avoid mixing new and old lubricating grease.
When replacing the bearings, ensure the model is matched, and install them using heat fitting or special tools to avoid damaging the bearings by knocking.
Sensor calibration
Regularly calibrate the temperature sensor to ensure detection accuracy; check if the connection terminals are oxidized or loose, and clean or tighten them if necessary.
Heat dissipation maintenance
Key Points for Daily Maintenance of Atlas Copco
Regular Inspection: Observe if there are any oil seepage marks at the shaft end. If leakage is detected, stop the machine for maintenance immediately to prevent the expansion of the fault.
Standard Replacement: Replace the seals according to the requirements in the manual on a regular basis (usually in sync with the oil replacement cycle). During replacement, ensure that the installation surface is clean and the shaft surface is smooth to avoid damaging the seals.
Oil Management: Use lubricating oil that meets specifications. Regularly filter or replace it to prevent impurities in the oil from wearing down the sealing surfaces.
Operation Monitoring: Monitor the pressure, temperature, and vibration parameters of the unit to avoid operating beyond the normal conditions and reduce the wear of the seals.
Daily Maintenance of Air Compressor Intake Valve by Atlas Copco
Regular Cleaning: The intake valve is prone to contamination from dust and impurities in the air. It should be disassembled and cleaned regularly to prevent the valve core from getting stuck and affecting normal operation.
Check Seals: Aging or damaged sealing components such can lead to air leakage. Regular inspections and timely replacements are necessary.
Lubrication Maintenance: For intake valves with moving parts, lubricants should be added according to the instructions to ensure smooth operation.
Function Testing: Regularly test the smoothness of the valve's opening and closing and its response time to ensure it can accurately act according to pressure changes.
If the intake valve malfunctions, it may cause problems such as insufficient air output, unstable pressure, increased energy consumption, and even affect the lifespan of the entire machine. Therefore, daily maintenance and upkeep are particularly important.
Model and compatible models: The oil filter kit for Atlas Copco air compressors comes in various models. Some of them are suitable for oil filters of RXD series lubricants, such as 3001160212, which are applicable to air compressors of models like GA5, GA7, GA11, GA7VSD+, GA11VSD+, GA15VSD+, G7, etc.
Atlas Copco SEPARATOR OIL SPARE Replacement cycle
Normal operating conditions: According to the compressor manual, it is usually replaced every 2,000 to 4,000 hours (simultaneously with the lubricating oil).
Severe operating conditions: When the environment is dusty, the machine operates at full load for a long time, or the oil deteriorates quickly, the replacement interval should be shortened to 1,000 to 2,000 hours.
Pressure difference alarm: When the pressure difference between the oil filter inlet and outlet exceeds the set value (such as 0.3 MPa, some models come with pressure difference gauges or alarm functions), it is necessary to replace immediately.
Maintenance tips for Atlas Copco air compressor thermostat kit: Regularly remove the thermostat valve for cleaning, remove foreign substances that may exist in the lubricating oil, and prevent blockage. You can put the valve core in 80℃ water to observe. If the valve core expands fully in this environment and is 10-15mm longer than at normal temperature, then the valve core is normal. If there are aging or other issues, the thermostat valve needs to be replaced.
