Structural Design
It adopts a spherical valve core structure. By rotating the valve core (usually 90° rotation), it achieves quick on-off, with low flow resistance, suitable for scenarios requiring precise control of flow. The 1/4-inch diameter (approximately 6.35mm) is compatible with small pipelines and is commonly found in the lubrication path, control air path, or auxiliary circuits of the compressor.
Material Selection
Valve Body: Mostly made of brass, stainless steel (such as 304, 316), resistant to the corrosion of compressor oil, suitable for working temperatures ranging from -20℃ to 150℃.
Sealing Materials: Use nitrile rubber (NBR), fluororubber (FKM), etc., to ensure sealing performance and aging resistance in oil mist environments.
Valve Core / Valve Rod: Made of stainless steel, wear-resistant and less prone to sticking.
Pressure Rating
It needs to match the pressure of the compressor system. The working pressure range is generally 10 to 30 bar (depending on the compressor model), and some high-pressure models can withstand higher pressure.
Installation and Adaptation
The interface form is usually internal thread (NPT or G thread), facilitating connection with 1/4-inch pipelines. It can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines. The operation handle is mostly made of plastic or metal, facilitating manual adjustment.
