Original Atlas Copco 2903775400 Air compressor Oil Separator
Model:2903775400
The air compressor oil separator is a crucial component in the air compressor system, used to separate oil droplets and oil mist from the compressed air. It ensures the purity of the compressed air and enables the recycling and reuse of the lubricating oil.
Gravity settling: After the oil and gas mixture enters the oil separator, due to the decrease in flow velocity and the change in flow direction, the oil droplets naturally settle to the bottom of the separator under the influence of gravity. For example, in some simple small air compressors, the first separation of the oil and gas tank mainly relies on gravity, allowing most of the larger-sized oil droplets to be separated from the oil and gas mixture.
Centrifugal separation: By making the oil and gas mixture rotate at high speed, generating centrifugal force, the denser oil droplets are thrown towards the inner wall of the separator and then flow down along the wall surface, achieving the separation of oil and gas. The oil and gas mixture from the oil-gas mixture of the screw compressor enters the oil separator from the tangentially arranged intake pipe and flows tangentially along the inner side of the tank, which utilizes centrifugal force for rough separation.
Filtering separation: Using filter materials with certain pore diameters, such as glass fiber filter materials, polyester synthetic fibers, etc., to filter the oil and gas mixture, allowing the oil mist particles to be intercepted on the filter material, thereby achieving the separation of oil and gas. The oil and gas after rough separation enter the oil-gas separation core for further separation, which is achieved in this way to separate the fine oil droplets.
