Atlas Copco air filter:

Uses high-quality filter paper or composite filtering materials (such as multi-layer glass fibers), divided into main filter element and safety filter element (for some models). The main filter element is responsible for intercepting most impurities, with a filtration accuracy generally ranging from 1 to 5 microns; the safety filter element serves as a backup, preventing impurities from directly entering the main unit when the main filter element is damaged, providing dual protection.

Atlas Copco seals:

Includes rubber sealing rings, gaskets, etc., used for sealing the filter element and filter housing, preventing unfiltered air from entering through gaps and ensuring that all incoming air passes through the filter element for filtration.

Atlas Copco installation accessories:

Some maintenance kits may include fixing clips, bolts or installation instructions to facilitate standardized replacement operations.

Atlas Copco intake filtration: Efficiently intercepts dust, sand particles, and fibers in the air, reducing pollutants entering the main unit, and reducing abrasive wear on precision components such as rotors and bearings.

Extends the lifespan of associated components: Reduces contamination of lubricating oil by impurities, delays the clogging of oil filters and oil separators, and indirectly lowers the overall maintenance cost of the machine.

Compatibility and replacement points

Compatible models:

Different maintenance kits correspond to specific series of air compressors (such as GA, G, ZR, etc.), and it is necessary to confirm compatibility based on the equipment model and serial number to ensure that the filter element size, installation method, and installation on the filter housing match.

Replacement cycle:

In normal conditions, it is recommended to replace every 2000-4000 hours. In harsh environments (such as mines, cement plants, construction sites), the replacement period should be shortened to 1000-2000 hours.

Some models are equipped with an air filter pressure difference meter. When the pressure difference exceeds the set value (usually 5-10 mbar), it is necessary to replace immediately.

Replacement precautions:

Before replacement, stop the machine and clean the outside of the filter housing to avoid debris falling into the filter housing during disassembly.

When installing the new filter element, ensure that the seals are intact and correctly positioned, and tighten the fixing components (avoiding over-tightening and damaging the filter housing).

After replacement, check the fit between the filter element and the filter housing, and observe if the pressure difference returns to the normal range after starting the machine.
