2901161700 Atlas Copco air compressor THERMOSTAT KIT 60 DEGREE C FOR OIL INJECTED SCREW COMPRESSOR Original
The composition structure of the Atlas Copco air compressor thermostat kit: It is usually composed of a valve body, valve core, temperature sensing element and spring, etc. The temperature sensing element is mostly special temperature-sensitive paraffin wax, sealed in a copper shell, and uses the linear expansion characteristic of the paraffin wax during the solid-liquid phase change to convert the temperature change signal into the displacement change of the valve core.
The working principle of the Atlas Copco air compressor thermostat kit: When the oil temperature is lower than the set value (generally around 71℃), the temperature sensing element contracts. Under the rebound effect of the spring, the valve core closes the bypass valve, and the lubricating oil directly returns from the oil-gas tank to the main unit, rapidly heating up. When the oil temperature is higher than the set value, the temperature sensing element expands and pushes the push rod, causing the valve core to open the bypass valve. The lubricating oil enters the cooler for cooling, and the larger the oil temperature, the larger the opening of the bypass valve. The cooled lubricating oil then returns to the main unit, thereby controlling the oil temperature within an appropriate range.
The main function of the Atlas Copco air compressor thermostat kit: To ensure that the lubricating oil of the air compressor is within the suitable operating temperature range, generally the suitable temperature range for screw air compressors is 70-85℃. To avoid low oil temperature causing the lubricating oil to have a high viscosity, affecting the lubrication effect, or high oil temperature causing the oil film to fail to be established normally, and to prevent low oil temperature from generating condensate water that causes harm to the equipment.
