When the system pressure rises to the set value, the valve core is pushed open by the pressure, releasing the compressed air; when the pressure drops back within the safe range, the valve core automatically closes under the action of the loading mechanism, restoring the seal. Its core function is to provide overpressure protection for the system, preventing hazards caused by abnormal situations such as failure of the pressure controller or blockage of the pipeline.

The specification of the safety valve needs to be compatible with the rated working pressure, exhaust volume, and installation position of the air compressor. Different series (such as GA, G, ZR, etc.) of models have different safety valve models. When purchasing, the following information must be provided:
The specific model of the air compressor (such as GA45, GA90VSD) and the factory serial number;
The installation position of the safety valve (such as the oil-gas separator tank, storage tank, post-treatment equipment);
The part number of the old valve (usually engraved on the valve body) and the set pressure value.
