High Quality 1622706406 Atlas Copco Air Compressor Parts Temperature Control Valve Kit

ATLAS COPCO Air Compressor Temperature Control Valve Kit

I. Kit Composition and Core Functions

Main Components: Usually include the temperature control valve body (containing the temperature sensing element), valve core, spring, seals (O-rings, gaskets), bypass pipeline joints, and installation accessories, etc.

Working Principle: Through the temperature sensing element (such as wax temperature sensing bulb), it senses the oil temperature changes and automatically adjusts the valve core opening:

When the oil temperature is lower than the set value, the valve core closes the cooling circuit, and the lubricating oil passes through the bypass and directly enters the main unit, quickly raising the oil temperature.

When the oil temperature reaches the set value, the valve core gradually opens, and the lubricating oil enters the cooling unit for cooling before circulation, avoiding excessive oil temperature leading to deterioration of the oil quality.

II. Adaptation Characteristics

Customized for different series of air compressors (such as GA, ZR, ZT, etc.) with oil flow, pressure parameters and installation space to ensure the control temperature accuracy and matching with the unit.

Material selection: uses oil-resistant, high-temperature-resistant metals (such as brass, stainless steel) and special rubber, suitable for long-term immersion of lubricating oil and temperature fluctuation environments.

III. Scenarios for Replacement or Maintenance

Regular Replacement: It is recommended to replace every 4000-6000 hours or synchronously with the lubricating oil to prevent valve core wear, aging of the temperature sensing element, and resulting control failure.

Fault Manifestations:

Oil temperature continuously low (below 80℃), possibly due to the valve core stuck in the bypass position, preventing the lubricating oil from entering the cooling unit.

Abnormally high oil temperature (over 100℃), possibly due to the valve core stuck in the closed position or failure of the temperature sensing element, with the cooling circuit not opening.

Leakage of oil, mostly caused by aging and damage of the seals.

IV. Key Points for Replacement and Installation

Preparations:

Shut down and disconnect power supply, release the oil pressure in the pipeline, wait for the unit to cool down.

Prepare the compatible original factory kit, wrench, sealant (if necessary), and cleaning cloth.

Replacement Steps:

Remove the inlet and outlet oil pipelines of the temperature control valve, collect the residual lubricating oil.

Loosen the old valve fixing bolts, remove the old valve, clean the oil stains and sealant residues on the installation surface.

Check if the new valve assembly is intact, replace all seals, install the new valve in the original factory direction (pay attention to the inlet and outlet oil direction).

Tighten the pipe joints and fixing bolts to ensure no leakage.

Debugging and Inspection:

Start the unit and observe if the oil temperature changes within the normal range (80-95℃).

Check if there is oil leakage at the valve components and pipe interfaces, confirm the sensitive response of the control temperature.
