1092200857 ATLAS COPCO Air Compressor Engine Wheel Fan Blade
The main functions and roles of the engine wheel fan of Atlas Copco air compressors are as follows:
Heat dissipation and cooling: Through high-speed rotation, it generates airflow to remove heat from key components such as the engine cylinder, compressor head, oil cooler, and intercooler, maintaining the equipment within the optimal working temperature range (usually depending on the model, the temperature range is around 80-100°C).
Temperature regulation: In conjunction with temperature control switches or sensors, it adjusts the fan speed (for some models, it is a silicone oil clutch or electronic control) to dynamically adjust the cooling efficiency and balance energy consumption and cooling requirements under different operating conditions such as equipment startup, low load, or high load.
System protection: When the equipment experiences insufficient cooling or abnormal temperature rise, the fan will enter full-load operation mode, cooperating with the temperature control system to trigger warnings to prevent serious faults such as cylinder seizure or shaft seizure caused by overheating of the engine or compressor.
Structural and compatibility features:
Material: The fan blades mostly use high-strength engineering plastics, aluminum alloys, or steel materials, featuring lightweight, corrosion resistance, and vibration resistance, which are suitable for harsh industrial environments.
Design: The blade shape is optimized for aerodynamics, ensuring sufficient cooling air volume while reducing air resistance and operating noise; the fan wheel (hub) is connected to the engine crankshaft or a dedicated drive shaft through belts, couplings, etc., ensuring stable power transmission.
Compatibility: As original factory components, the size, speed parameters, and installation interfaces of the fan are precisely matched with specific models of air compressors (such as fixed screw compressors, mobile compressors, etc.), ensuring that the cooling performance matches the power requirements of the equipment.
