Common types of sealing rings and their application locations

Shaft seal / Oil seal: Installed on rotating shafts such as the motor shaft and compressor main shaft to prevent lubricating oil from leaking and to prevent dust from entering.

O-ring: Widely used in various pipe interfaces, valves, cylinder end covers, etc. for static or dynamic sealing. The material is mostly nitrile rubber (NBR), fluororubber (FKM), etc. The oil and temperature resistance performance is selected based on the working conditions.

Piston ring / Piston sealing ring: For reciprocating air compressors, installed on the piston to achieve gas sealing in the cylinder.

Valve plate seal ring: Used in intake valves, exhaust valves, etc. of valve body components to ensure the sealing performance when the valves are opened and closed.
