Assembly Requirements: The V-shaped belts in the same group must be of the same brand, model, length, and condition (new or old), to ensure uniform force distribution and avoid single belt overloading and breakage.
II. Atlas Copco Core Parameters and Types Specification parameters
Model: Common types include A type, B type, C type, etc. (classified by cross-sectional size, such as A type with a cross-section of 13×8mm, B type with 17×11mm), and they need to match the groove type of the pulley.
Length: Marked by effective length (such as 1000mm, 1200mm, etc.), it must strictly match the center distance between the motor and the main unit.
Material: Mostly rubber material (including canvas layer and cord layer reinforcement), some high-performance models use polyurethane or aramid cord to enhance wear resistance and lifespan.
Common types
Atlas Copco Ordinary fabric-covered V-belt: Suitable for small and medium power air compressors, with lower cost.
Atlas Copco Narrow V-belt: Transmits more power under the same width, suitable for high-power air compressors, with better energy efficiency.

Installation and Adjustment
Atlas Copco The tension should be moderate: Press the middle of the belt, the deflection should be about 10-15mm (varies by different models), too loose will cause slipping and overheating, too tight will aggravate bearing wear.
Align the pulleys: The axis of the motor pulley and the main unit pulley should be parallel, and the pulley grooves should be aligned to avoid uneven wear of the belt.
Daily Maintenance
Atlas Copco Regular inspection: Observe for cracks, wear, aging, and oil stains (oil stains will corrode the rubber), and replace the entire set of belts in time if any abnormalities are found (cannot replace a single belt).
