Atlas Copco Original 2901990096 AIR FILTER KIT Service Kit C142 GA90 GA110VSD
I. Core Parameters and Applicable Models of C142 Air Filter Assembly
Model Identification: C142 (core model of the filter element, the complete part number may be 1621735200, etc., refer to the equipment manual for details).
Applicable Models: Mainly applicable to medium and large-sized screw-type air compressors such as GA90 (90kW), GA110VSD (110kW, variable frequency model), etc. These models have a large intake volume and have higher requirements for the filtering efficiency and dust holding capacity of the air filter.
Filtering Precision: Usually 1-5μm, can effectively intercept dust, sand particles and other impurities, with a filtering efficiency of over 99.9% (according to ISO standards).
Structural Features: Adopting pleated filter paper design, increasing the filtration area, reducing intake resistance, and simultaneously enhancing the dust holding capacity (the dust holding capacity is usually around 150-200g).
II. Composition of the Air Filter Assembly
C142 Main Filter Element:
The core filtering component, using high-strength composite filter paper (some contain nano-coating), featuring both efficient filtration and low resistance, ensuring stable filtration effect even under high intake volume.
Filter Housing (Shell):
Usually made of metal or high-strength plastic, with good sealing and pressure resistance, internally designed with positioning structure to ensure the filter element is installed firmly and avoid air short-circuiting (unfiltered air directly entering the main unit).
Safety Filter Element (Optional):
Some models are equipped with a safety filter element on the inner side of the main filter element (secondary filtration), preventing impurities from entering the system in case of accidental damage to the main filter element, providing dual protection (requires a separate matching model).
Pressure Difference Indicator:
Installed on the filter housing, when the main filter element is clogged and the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet air reaches the set value (usually 5-6kPa), the indicator will trigger an alarm (such as a red display or connection to the unit control system for alarm), reminding of replacement.
III. Key Points for Replacement and Maintenance
Replacement Period:
Standard environment (dust concentration ≤ 1mg/m³): Suggested to replace once every 2000-3000 hours.
Harsh environment (such as cement plants, mines, etc.): Need to shorten to 1000-1500 hours, or replace promptly upon alarm from the pressure difference indicator.
Replacement Precautions:
Must use Atlas Copco original C142 air filters or certified aftermarket parts to avoid filter material quality issues leading to filter failure and damage to the main unit.
Before replacement, stop the machine and release the internal air pressure. When opening the filter housing, pay attention to cleaning the interior of the housing to prevent residual impurities from falling.
Ensure that the sealing ring of the filter element and the filter housing are fully in contact, without wrinkles or misalignment, to avoid air leakage.
Regular Inspection:
Regularly (such as weekly) inspect the appearance of the filter housing for any damage and the status of the pressure difference indicator.
If the equipment experiences insufficient intake air volume, decreased exhaust pressure, or abnormal noise from the main unit, it is necessary to first check if the air filter is clogged or installed improperly.
