Atlas Copco Air Filter Element
Function: Filters dust and particles in the incoming air to prevent contamination of lubricating oil and the main unit when entering the compression chamber.
Features: The filter area is designed based on the flow rate of the model, and efficient filter materials (such as composite filter paper) ensure low resistance and high dust capacity.
Atlas Copco Oil Filter Element
Function: Filters metal debris, oil sludge, etc. in the lubricating oil to protect the main bearing and rotor.
Features: High precision filtration (usually 10-20 μm), some with bypass valve design to avoid interruption of oil supply when the filter element is clogged.
Oil-gas Separator Filter Element
Function: Separates oil mist in the compressed air to ensure that the exhaust oil content meets the standard (usually ≤ 3 ppm).
Features: Multi-layer composite filter material, efficient separation while reducing pressure loss, and extending the replacement cycle.
Other auxiliary filters
Such as intake valve filter, oil level indicator filter, etc. (depending on the model configuration), providing protection for specific components.
Application scenarios: Regular replacement of filter elements, usually carried out simultaneously with lubricant replacement, and it is recommended to replace according to the equipment manual cycle (such as 2000-4000 hours).
II. Atlas Copco Service Kits
The service kits are a more comprehensive maintenance combination, in addition to filters, also include key consumables and wear parts required for maintenance, covering the core needs of a complete maintenance, typical components include:
Complete Filter Kits: All components of the above filter kits.
Lubricating Oil: Original factory-specific air compressor lubricating oil (such as screw compressor-specific oil), suitable for equipment conditions, with excellent antioxidant and lubrication performance.
Sealing Rings and O-Rings: Sealing rings, gaskets, etc. required for replacing filters or components to prevent leakage (materials are mostly oil-resistant rubber).
Other Wear Parts: Such as end cover seal pads of the oil-gas separator, valve cores of the discharge valve, etc. (depending on the model and kit grade). Advantages:
One-stop procurement to avoid maintenance issues caused by incompatible parts models;
Ensure that all consumables are in accordance with the original factory standards of the equipment, guaranteeing maintenance effectiveness;
Simplify inventory management, especially suitable for batch equipment maintenance.
III. Atlas Copco Selection and Usage Notes
Model matching: Select the corresponding kit based on the specific model of the air compressor (such as GA55, GX30, etc.) and the production year. The filter size and interface of different models may be different.
Replacement cycle: Replace regularly according to the recommendations in the equipment manual (such as operating hours, environmental dust concentration). In harsh working conditions, the cycle should be shortened.
Original factory priority: Original factory kits have undergone strict testing and have the best compatibility with the equipment, minimizing the risk of faults caused by part issues.
Installation specifications: When replacing, stop the machine, depressurize, clean the installation surface, tighten according to the specified torque, and ensure a proper seal.
