2901007400 Thermostatic Kit Replacement for Atlas copco air Compressor Original Parts

Main replacement components composition

Thermostatic Valve Body

The core component senses the oil temperature through the internal temperature sensing element (such as wax valve core) and automatically adjusts the valve opening to control the flow of lubricating oil through the cooler.

When replacing, it is necessary to match the interface size (such as the diameter of the inlet and outlet oil ports, and the installation thread) and the temperature setting range of the original model.

Sealing Components

Including O-rings, sealing gaskets, lip seals, etc., used to prevent the leakage of lubricating oil at the connection between the thermostatic valve and the pipeline.

The material is mostly oil-resistant rubber (such as nitrile rubber), which needs to adapt to the chemical properties and working temperature of the compressor oil.

Spring and Valve Core

The spring provides the reset force of the valve core to ensure reliable closure of the valve at low temperatures (for bypassing the cooler); the valve core is the key component for flow regulation, and wear will lead to a decrease in regulation accuracy.

The elastic force parameters of the spring and the size accuracy of the valve core must be consistent with the original factory specifications.

Shell or Cover (Part of the Kit)

Some constant temperature kits include a protective housing or end cover to fix the internal components and form the oil passage channel. If there is a crack or deformation, it is necessary to replace them simultaneously.

Compatible Models and Replacement Timing

Compatible Models: Commonly found in GA series, GX series, etc. of screw-type air compressors, the specifications of constant temperature kits for different power models are different (such as GA15, GA22, GA37, etc. all have corresponding models).

Replacement Signal:

Abnormal oil temperature (continuous low temperature causing oil emulsification, or high temperature causing deterioration of the oil quality).

Thermostatic Valve Stuck (the valve cannot be opened or closed normally, manifested as the cooler always not working or continuously working).

Lubricating Oil Leakage (aging and damage of the sealing components).

It is recommended to perform preventive replacement of vulnerable parts during regular major maintenance (usually after 15,000 to 20,000 hours of operation).

Replacement and Maintenance Precautions

Original Factory Parts Priority: Must use Atlas Copco original replacement parts to ensure that the dimensions, materials, and performance of each component match, avoiding failure of oil temperature control due to compatibility issues.

Installation Specifications:

Before replacement, thoroughly clean the oil passage interface, remove oil stains and impurities to prevent the valve core from being blocked after installation.

Install in the reverse order of disassembly to ensure the correct positioning of the sealing components (avoid twisting or omission).

When tightening the bolts, operate according to the specified torque to prevent the shell from deforming and affecting the valve core movement.

Function Test:

After replacement, start the air compressor and monitor whether the oil temperature changes within the normal range (80-95℃).

Check for leaks and confirm that the thermostatic valve can switch normally with the oil temperature (bypass at low temperatures, open at high temperatures).
