The structure design of the Atalas Copco air compressor muffler

According to the relevant patents of Atalas Copco, its muffler consists of a housing with an internal cavity, as well as an intake port and an exhaust port connected to the internal cavity; multiple plate-shaped noise reduction structures are arranged in the internal cavity, which define at least one airflow channel in the internal cavity, and at least one of the airflow channels is respectively connected to the intake port and the exhaust port. At least one side plate surface of the plate-shaped noise reduction structure is a flat plate structure, including a sound-absorbing body and a cover body. The sound-absorbing body is composed of multiple regularly arranged sound-absorbing material blocks, and the cover body covers at least part of the surface of the sound-absorbing body, and at least part of the area of the cover body has holes.
