The 2901 1963 00 oil separator will fit several of the older style Atlas Copco GA11 through GA30C rotary screw air compressors. This part number is sometimes shown as 2901 1963 00. When purchasing this separator element kit the box will also contain two orings which are installed between the tank lid and the sump tank. The o-ring part numbers are 2901 1963 00. This is an OEM part from Atlas Copco. When changing the separator element, it is also recommended to change the compressor oil, air filter and oil filter.

The separator filter removes oil from the airstream before the air is sent downstream. Changing the separator element on an annual basis will increase your energy efficiency by reducing the pressure drop across the oil tank. This separator prevents oil from getting into your downstream production equipment. This Atlas Copco separator element should be changed annually or every 4,000 hours, whichever occurs first.

This filter is used on a wide variety of older Atlas Copco models that often start with the serial number AII. Some of the models include GA18 VSD, GA 22 VSD, GA30 VSD, GA 11, GA 15, GA 18, GA 22, and GA 30C typically with the Elektronikon I or II controller.
