Function: Filters dust and impurities in the air entering the compressor to prevent particles from entering the main unit and causing wear, while reducing the burden on the oil filter and oil-gas separator.
Features: Usually made of high-efficiency filter paper material, with a large filtration area and dust capacity, and the replacement cycle can be adjusted according to the usage environment (such as dust concentration).
Compatible models: There are dedicated models for GA90/GA110VSD (such as 1621740100, etc., specific as per the equipment manual), and they need to match the compressor intake port specifications.
2. Oil Filter Component
Function: Filters contaminants (such as metal debris, oil sludge, etc.) in the compressed oil to protect the lubrication of key components such as bearings and rotors, preventing wear and blockage.
Features: High-precision filtration (usually with a filtration accuracy of 10μm or less), with good high-pressure resistance, and compatible with specific compressor oils (such as No. 55 oil).
Notes: The replacement cycle is generally synchronized with the oil change cycle (such as after 2000-4000 hours of operation, depending on the operating conditions), and when replacing, the old oil must be drained and the filter seat cleaned.
3. Oil Separator Component
Function: Separates oil mist carried in the compressed air to keep the exhaust oil content at an extremely low level (usually ≤3ppm), ensuring the quality of compressed air and reducing fuel consumption.
Structure: Composed of a separator core (multi-layer filtering material) and an outer shell, separating oil droplets through interception and coagulation methods.
Maintenance points: If the pressure difference is too large (exceeding 0.8bar) or the fuel consumption increases abnormally, it is necessary to replace it in time to avoid affecting the efficiency of the compressor.
4. Other auxiliary filters (depending on the configuration)
Fine filter / Activated carbon filter: Some systems will add this at the air outlet of the compressor to further purify the air (such as removing odors and trace oil), meeting the high-precision requirements of food, medicine, etc.
Pre-filter for oil separator: Some models may be equipped, used to pre-treat larger oil droplets to extend the lifespan of the main separator.
