Normal operating conditions: Suitable for clean environments (such as ordinary workshops, without significant dust or oil contamination), using original factory-recommended lubricating oil (such as Atlas Copco's dedicated lubricating oil), and with stable unit operation load (no frequent start-stop or full-load operation).

Based on: This cycle is the result of the manufacturer's comprehensive calculation of filter element dust capacity, filtration efficiency decay curve, and lubricating oil deterioration rate, ensuring that within 2000 hours, the oil filter can effectively intercept impurities and protect the main unit from wear.

2. Situations requiring early replacement

If the operating environment or status of the unit deviates from the normal conditions, even if it has not reached 2000 hours, the oil filter must be replaced in advance:

Harsh environment: Such as high dust concentration (mining, cement plants), high humidity, or the presence of corrosive gases, which can cause impurities to accelerate into the lubricating oil, and the oil filter clogging speed to increase.

Abnormal lubricating oil: If the lubricating oil shows abnormal deterioration phenomena such as emulsification, darkening, or presence of metal debris, it is necessary to replace the oil filter simultaneously.

Pressure difference alarm: When the pressure difference between the oil filter before and after exceeds the set value (usually 0.2-0.3 MPa), the unit control panel displays an oil filter blockage alarm, and it is necessary to replace immediately to avoid the long-term opening of the bypass valve allowing unfiltered oil to enter the main unit.

After maintenance: After replacing the main unit, bearings, and other core components, it is recommended to replace the oil filter in advance to prevent the new oil from being contaminated by impurities brought in during installation.

3. Key points for 2000-hour replacement operation

Replacement timing: It should be synchronized with the lubricating oil replacement to avoid the contamination of new oil by impurities in the old oil and ensure the overall cleanliness of the lubrication system.

Part matching: It is necessary to select the original factory oil filter (such as GA series, ZR series corresponding models) that is compatible with the model, with its filtration accuracy (10-20 μm), bypass valve parameters fully matching the unit, to ensure the filtering effect and safety protection function.

Standard operation:

Stop the machine, depressurize, and cool down before operating. Avoid being burned by hot oil.

Clean the base sealing surface, the new oil filter sealing ring needs to be coated with a small amount of new oil, and tightened according to the specified torque (usually 25-35 N·m).

After replacement, start the machine to check for leaks and observe whether the oil pressure returns to normal.
