Core Function
Consistent with the function of a separate temperature control valve, it automatically regulates the flow by sensing the oil/liquid temperature:
When the temperature is low, it closes or reduces the cooling path to prevent equipment from experiencing poor lubrication (such as insufficient oil film strength);
When the temperature is high, it opens the cooling path to enhance heat dissipation and prevent the deterioration of lubricating oil and overheating of components.
The kit form provides a complete replacement solution, facilitating the one-time replacement of all vulnerable components during maintenance.
II. Application Scenarios and Model Matching
Applicable Machines: Mainly compatible with screw-type air compressors (such as GA, ZR, GHS series), the size and interface specifications of the thermostatic valve for different models are different, and strict matching is required.
Common Spare Part Numbers: Such as Atlas original factory numbers 3112 0094 00, 3112 0104 00 (specific needs to be queried according to the air compressor model).
When the thermostatic valve has stuck, leaks, or control failure, replacing the complete kit can avoid secondary faults caused by the aging of individual components.
III. Replacement and Installation Tips
Replacement Timing
When there is abnormal temperature (persistent high or low temperature) in the equipment, the thermostatic valve is stuck and cannot operate;
Preventive replacement according to the maintenance manual cycle (usually synchronized with major repairs or every 8000-12000 hours);
When the valve body leaks or the seals are aging.
Installation Precautions
Before replacement, the equipment needs to be shut down and depressurized to release the oil/liquid pressure in the system, avoiding splashing during disassembly and assembly;
Clean the installation surface, remove residual oil stains and impurities, and ensure good sealing;
Tighten the connecting parts according to the original factory specified torque to prevent leakage;
After installation, start the equipment to test and confirm that the temperature control returns to normal (such as the oil temperature stabilizing within the 70-95℃ range).
